HomeMy WebLinkAbout277 1979-08-21CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 277 A RESOLUTION MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS AND REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL CONCERNING CERTAIN PROPOSED CHANGES IN ORDINANCE NO. 347, (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF EULESS, TEXAS: THAT after public hearing, careful study and consideration of the proposed amandments, supplements, changes, modifications, or repeals (hereinafter called "changes") to Ordinance No. 347, (Zoning Ordinance) of the City of Euless, Texas, as specified in Exhibit "A" attached and made a part of this resolution, the City Planning and Zoning Commission is of the opinion and recommends that such changes be denied by the City Council. 2. THAT a signed copy of this resolution shall be delivered to the City Council, and shall constitute the report and recommendation of the City Planning and Zoning Commission. E X 11 1 B I T "A" THAT the zoning classification of the followiny described property, now zoned "C-l" Neighborhood Business District be changed to "R-5" Multi -Family Dwelling District BEING all that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situated in the J. M. Cummings Survey, A-302, City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, and, being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point for corner in the proposed west ROW line of North Main Street; said point being N 880 14' 54" W, 15.00' and S 010 49' 39'' E, 125.00' from the southeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to the Mid -Cities Christian Church by deed recorded in Volume 4213, Page 524, Deed Records Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE S O1° 49'39" W, with the said proposed west line of North Main Street, 290.36' to a point for corner in the north line of a proposed 90 foot width street;. THENCE WEST, with the said north line of a proposed street, 506.38' to the beginning of'a curve to the right whose central angle is 140 22'02', and whose center bears NORTH, 1086.75'; THENCE with said curve to the right and said north line of a proposed street, 272.51' to a point for corner; said point being also the beginning of a curve to the left whose cnetrai angle is 390 33' 55"-and whose center bears N 520 16' 32" W, 623.19'; THENCE with said curve to the left in a northerly direction, 430.34' to the end of said curve; said point being also the southwest corner of the said Mid -Cities Christian Church tract; THENCE s 880 14' 54'' E, with the south line of said Mid -Cities Christian Church tract, '139.63' to a point for corner; THENCE S 01° 49' 39'' W, 124.71' to a point for corner; THENCE S 880 10' 21" E, 220.00' to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 267,197.92 square feet or 6.134 acres of land, more or less.
