HomeMy WebLinkAbout287 1980-02-19PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 287 A RESOLUTION MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS AND REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL CONCERNING CERTAIN PROPOSED CHANGES IN ORDINANCE NO. 347, (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION Of� EULESS, TEXAS: THAT after public hearing, careful study and consideration of' the proposed amendments, supplements, changes, modifications, or repeals (hereinafter called. "changes") to Ordinance No. 347, (Zoning Ordinance) of the City of Euless, Texas, as specified in Exhibit "A" attached and made a part of this resolution, the Planning and Zoning Commission is of the opinion and recommends that such changes be roved-___ by the City Council. II . THAT a signed copy of this resolution shall be delivered to the City Council, and shall constitute the report and recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Sec 7 ary, EXHIBIT "A" THAT the zoning class.i.ficati.on of the following,described property, now zoned — "C-1" Neighborhood Business District be changed to "C-2" Community Business District Being a tract of .land situated in the W.G. Matthews Survey, Abstract No. 1052, City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, and further being part of a 69.59 acre tract of land conveyed to Euless -Main Venture, by Doral Properties, Inc. as recorded in Volume 6656 at Page 269 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the East line of South Main Street with the North line of Whitener Drive, an iron stake for corner; THENCE N. 10 26' E along said East line of South Main Street, a distance of 490.90 feet to the intersection of the said East line of South Main Street with the South line of Landover Drive, an iron stake for corner.; THENCE S. 890 53' E along said South line of Landover Drive, a distance of 216.77 feet to an iron stake for corner; THENCE' S. 1.0 26' W along the West line of Twin Creek Estates, an addition to the City of Euless, Texas, part of the way and passing at 128.84 feet the Southwest corner of said Twin Creek Estates, a total distance of 494.75 feet to a point on the said North line of Whitener Drive, an iron stake for corner; THENCE N. 880 52' W along said North line of Whitener Drive, a distance of 216.72 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 106,804 square feet or 2.452 acres of land.
