HomeMy WebLinkAbout289 1980-03-18PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 289 A RESOLUTION MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS AND REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL CONCERNING CERTAIN PROPOSED CHANGES IN ORDINANCE NO. 347, (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF EULESS, TEXAS: THAT after public hearing, careful study and consideration of the proposed amendments, supplements, changes, modifications, or repeals (hereinafter called "changes") to Ordinance No. 347, (Zoning Ordinance) of the City of Euless, Texas, as specified in Exhibit "A" attached and made a part of this resolution, the Planning and Zoning Commission is of the opinion and recommends that such changes be denied by the City Council. II. THAT a signed copy of this resolution shall be delivered to the City Council, and shall constitute the report and recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission. PLANNrl-17 AZ ING COMMISSION C1. arman EXHIBIT "A" THAT the zoning classification of the following described property, now zoned "R-l" Single Family Dwelling District be changed to "R-2" Two Family Dwelling District The following described tract or parcel of land being Lot 14, Block 11, CEDAR HILLS ESTATES ADDITION, to the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, according to plat recorded on Page 89 of Volume 388-U in the Tarrant County Deed Records and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said Lot 14 and being at the intersection of the North line of Sunset Drive with the West line of Cannon Drive; THENCE Westerly along the North line of said Sunset Drive a distance of 155.0 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 14; THENCE Northerly a distance of 81.1 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 14; THENCE Easterly a distance of 155.0 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 14 and being in the West line of said Cannon Drive; THENCE Southerly along the West line of said Cannon Drive a distance of 81.1 feet to place of beginning.
