RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS, INDICATING WILLINGNESS
TO COMMIT FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
HIGH SPEED LANOLINE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the North Central Texas Council of Governments
intends to develop an application for the funding of a high-
speed landline communications system, and
WHEREAS, the North Central Texas Council of Governments
needs to determine the number of governments which will be
participating in this program, and
WHEREAS, the Texas Criminal Justice Council has reserved
75% federal monies and 10% state monies to fund the project, and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless, Texas, wishes to participate
in the program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Euless, Texas, agrees to commit funds in an amount not to
exceed $3,000.00 which is necessary for the City's participation
in the purchase of the system.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 24th day of April ,1973, by
a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays, at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
