It was Just Yesterday"
One of the ELF Board Members, Lloyd Baldwin, posed for the second bronze sculpture
commission by ELF for the Library. He is positioned across from the three children at the
main entrance and appears to be reminiscing. A local contest was held to name the
sculpture and a public dedication ceremony introduced it to the community.

Rapture of the Human Spirit" is the first bronze sculpture given to the Library by ELF. It is at
the main entrance, viewable from a full 360 degrees and depicts three children, approximate
ages 5, 10 and 15 years old, reading books outdoors on a quilt.
It was presented to the Library in a dedication at a community reception just one year after
the new library facility opened.
