1961 - Started by Euless Lions Club, local book drive provided 2000 to 3000 books on shelf
1962 - State made permanent loan of 5000 books, one employee for 20 hours a week.
1964, July – Bond Election held, 8 propositions, $135,000 for constructing and equipping a library building and acquisition of site – 660 total votes, 422 yes & 238 no
1967 – Library moved to 201 N. Ector Drive (financed by CIP approved in 1964. Built for $274,000.)
1967, Nov. - Five full time employees, three part time employees
1975, September 30 - 30,500 books on shelf
1985 to 1993 – Book Cottage 114 N. Shepard Drive
1993 – EDC Tax was passed for Parks, Library, EDC
