SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE MEETING
MEETING OF MARCH 24, 2015

The Teen Court Advisory Board of the cities of Hurst, Euless and Bedford, Texas met at
5:15 p.m. at Bedford City Hall, Conference Room Downstairs, on the 24th day of March, 2015
with the following members present:
HURST: Dawn Jordan-Wells, Phoebe Soward
EULESS: Renu Sloan
BEDFORD: Janet Key
HEB Teen Court Coordinator— Mindy Eichorst
CALL TO ORDER
HEB Teen Court Coordinator Mindy Eichorst called the meeting to order at 5:21 p.m. with a
quorum of four Board Members present.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Review and evaluate Scholarship Applications.
There were eight scholarship applications to look over. The applicants: Daniel Covarrubias, Madeleine
Daniell, Alan Huang, and Dakota Ridgway all from Trinity High School, Samantha Glasford and Tara
Puckett, L.D. Bell High School, Sara Steves, Nolan High School, and Kimberly DeLorge, Homeschooi.
After all four Board Members looked over the applications, it was a unanimous vote to award five
applicants with $1,000 scholarships, two applicants with $500 scholarships, and one applicant with a
$300 scholarship. The breakdown is as follows: $1,000 - Daniell, Huang, Ridgway, and Steves, $500 —
DeLorge and Puckett, $300 — Covarrubias.
ADJOURNMENT
The ting was adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
