HomeMy WebLinkAbout361 1983-01-04Z.C. #383 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 361 A RESOLUTION MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS AND REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL CONCERNING CERTAIN PROPOSED CHANGES IN ORDINANCE NO. 347, (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF EULESS, TEXAS: THAT after public hearing, careful study and consideration of the proposed amendments, supplements, changes, modifications,~or repeals (hereinafter called "changes") to Ordinance No. 347, (Zoning Ordinance) of the City of Euless, Texas, as specified in Exhibit "A" attached and made a part of this resolution, the Planning and Zoning Commission is of the opinion and recommends that such changes be DENIED II. by the City Council. THAT a signed copy of this resolution shall be delivered to the City Council, and shall constitute the report and recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission. ADOPTED this 4th AT' EST: Secretary day of JANUARY , 19 83 . PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION airman Z.C. #383 EXHIBIT "A" THAT the zoning classification of the following described property, now zoned R-1 be changed to .C-1 Being a tract of land situated in the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, out o.f the Solomon Huitt Survey, A-705; and being a part of a tract of land conveyed to Tarrant Land Company by E:L. Baker by deed filed on August 14, 1951, and recorded in Volume 2342, Page 439, and also being a part of a tract of land conveyed to Tarrant Land Company by W.J. Eden, et ux, by deed dated August 6, 1951, and recorded in Volume 2342, Page 131, of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas; and being mor particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron rod for corner at the intersection of the southerly line of Midway Drive (80 ft. wide) and the northerly line of a tract of land conveyed to Main Develop- ment Company by Tarrant Land Company by deed recorded in the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE North 74015'54" East along the southerly line of Midway Drive a distance of 48.85 feet to an iron rod at the beginning of a curve to the left; THENCE in a northeasterly direction continuing along said southerly line of Midway Drive and along said curve to the left having a radius of 1061.05 feet, a central angle of 30015'35", and an arc length of 560.37 feet to an iron rod at the end of said curve to the left; THENCE South 7055'27" West along the westerly line of a tract of land conveyed to Hurst -Euless -Bedford Independent School District by deed recorded in Volume 5143, Page 415, of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, a distance of 302.38 feet to an iron rod for corner; THENCE North 89045'00" West along the northerly line of a tract of land conveyed to Main Development Company by Tarrant Land Company a distance of 480.78 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 1.2598 acres of land.
