HomeMy WebLinkAbout371 1983-02-15Z.C. #392 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 371 A RESOLUTION MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS AND REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL CONCERNING CERTAIN PROPOSED CHANGES IN ORDINANCE NO. 347, (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF EULESS, TEXAS: THAT after public hearing, careful study and consideration of the proposed amendments, supplements, changes, modifications, or repeals (hereinafter called "changes") to Ordinance No. 347, (Zoning Ordinance) of the City of Euless, Texas, as specified in Exhibit"A" attached and made a part of this resolution, the Planning and Zoning Commission is of the opinion and recommends that such changes be APPROVED by the City Council. II. THAT a signed copy of this resolution shall be delivered to the City Council, anal shall constitute the report and recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission. I'Iil£1lt Z.C. , #392 LXIIIBIT "A" THAT the zoning classification of the following described property, .now zoned R-1 be changed to C-2 & x-4 (C-2) The following described tract or parcel of land situated in the E. Taylor Survey, A-1550, Tarrant County, Texas and being a portion of a 42.58 acre tract as conveyed to W.J. Eden by deed recorded on Page 11 of Volume 2801 in the Tarrant County Deed Records and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING in the centerline of County Road No. 3030 and being in the North line of said 42.58 acre tract and being about S 89' 37' W a distance of 1079.4 feet from the Northeast corner of the said E. Taylor Survey; THENCE S 0° 17' W., at a distance of 22.0 feet an old iron rod in the South line of said County Road No. 3030, a total distance of 390.87 feet; THENCE S 330 20' 30" E a distance of 780.36 feet; THENCE N 89' 44' 35" E a distance of 110.05 feet to an old iron rod; THENCE N 00 16' 35" E, at a distance of 1022.63 feet an old iron rod in the South line of said County Road No. 3030, a total distance of 1045.93 feet to the centerline of said County Road No. 3030; THENCE S 890 37' W along the centerline of said County Road No. 3030 a distance of 542.09 feet to place of beginning, containing 9.766 acres with approximately 0.284 acre being occupied by said County Road No. 3030 leaving a net acreage of 9.482 acres of land more or less. Taylor Survey; THENCE S 0° 17' W a distance of 954.63 feet to an old iron rod; THENCE N 890 33' 05" E a distance of 329.32 feet to an old iron rod; THENCE N 00 16' 55" E a distance of 299.66 feet to an old iron rod; THENCE N 890 44' 35" E a distance of 102.85 feet; THENCE N 330 20' 30" W a distance of 780.36 feet to place of beginning, containing 5.51.3 acres of land more or less.
