HomeMy WebLinkAbout387 1983-06-07Z.C. #407 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 387 A RESOLUTION MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS AND REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL, CONCERNING CERTAIN PROPOSED CHANGES IN ORDINANCE; N0. 347, (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF EULESS, TEXAS: THAT after public hearing, careful study and consideration of the proposed amendments, supplements, changes, modifications, or repeals (hereinafter called "changes") to Ordinance No. 347, (Zoning Ordinance) of the City of Euless, Texas, as specified in Exhibit "A" attached and made a part of this resolution, the Planning and Zoning Commission is of the opinion and recommends that such changes be DENIED by the City Council. II. THAT a signed copy of this resolution shall be delivered to the City Council, and shall constitute the report and recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission. PLANNING AND ZONING COMPASSION - Chairman Z.C. #407 F X 111 1U T "A" THAT the zoning classification of the following described property, now zoned R-1 be changed to R-2 BEING a tract of land in the Bryant Harrington Survey, Abstract Number 808, Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the west right-of-way line of Baze Drive (52.5 foot right-of-way) and the north right-of-wa•y line of Priest Lane (25 foot right-of-way); THENCE North 88 degrees 50 minutes 00 seconds West along the north right-of- way line of Priest Lane a distance of 997.18 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE North 05 degrees 39 minutes 34 seconds West a distance of 405.42 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE South 88 degrees 49 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 1,045.52 feet to a point in the west right-of-way line of Baze Drive; THENCE South 01 degrees 11 minutes 20 seconds West along the west right-of-way line of Baze Drive a distance of 402.24 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 9.435 acres of land, more or less. SURVEYOR'S CERTIFICATE: I, Larry D. Stone, a Registered Public Surveyor, do hereby certify that the foregoing boundary survey was prepared from an actual and accurate survey on the ground and that the boundary survey is true, correct, and an accurate representation of the lines and dimensions of the property.
