WHEREAS, the Euless City Council by appropriate resolution
heretofore authorized the execution of a Contract of Sale for the
purchase of certain property lying and situated in the City of
Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, from the First Presbyterian Church
of Euless, Texas, and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of May, 1974, pursuant to such
resolution the City Manager of the City of Euless, Texas did
execute such Contract of Sale, closing of which by the terms and
conditions thereof was expressly contingent upon formal acceptance
by the First Presbyterian Church of Euless, Texas, owner of such
property and certain State and National governing bodies of the
Presbyterian Church, and subsequent thereto the approval and rati-
fication of this Council, and
WHEREAS, the approval of Seller and the ratification of
such sale by such State and National governing bodies of Seller
has now occurred, and
WHEREAS, all other things and conditions precedent to the
closing of such sale have also occurred except as to the final
approval and ratification of same by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS AS FOLLOWS:
I.
That certain Contract of Sale entered into by the City of
Euless and the First Presbyterian Church of Euless, Texas on the
14th day of May, 1974, is hereby ratified and in all things
approved by the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
II.
The City Manager of the City of Euless, Texas is authorized
and directed to execute and deliver any and all instruments, sums
of money and other things necessary to affect closing of that
certain Contract of Sale herein approved and ratified by the City
Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
That the City Secretary of the City of Euless, Texas is
directed upon adoption of this resolution to attach hereto a true
and correct copy of the herein referenced Contract of Sale as
Exhibit "A ".

ADOPTED, this the 13th day of August, 1974, at a regular
called meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
