WHEREAS, the cities of Hurst, Euless, and Bedford established
a body known as the Mid - Cities Water Development Board, and provided
said Board with funds; and
WHEREAS, said Board invested money in First State Bank of
Bedford Savings Income Certificate No. 00240 which with accumulated
interest was valued at $1,344.85 as of 6- 18 -74; and
WHEREAS, said Board is no longer functional and the certificate
of deposit has been lost; and
WHEREAS, said cities desire to hold said bank harmless and
indemnify said bank in order that the funds might be released to said
cities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
That the First State Bank of Bedford is hereby held harmless
from any claim made on Savings Income Certificate No. 00240 at any
time after said Bank pays the current value of said certificate to
the order of the cities of Hurst, Euless, and Bedford.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 28th day of January , 1975,
by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
