A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF EULESS TO
PURCHASE EQUIPMENT FOR AN EXPANDED IDENTIFICATION
CRIME SCENE SEARCH SECTION.
WHEREAS, the equipment presently available is not sufficient to
perform basic identification and crime scene searches; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless does not have sufficient financial
resources to provide its law enforcement agency with this basic
equipment; and
WHEREAS, the utilization of this equipment will allow the City
of Euless law enforcement agency to increase its capability in the
identification and collection of evidence; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this City Council that the best
interest of the citizens of the City of Euless will be served by
participating in this cooperative purchasing program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1. The City of Euless desires to participate in the purchase of
the Expanded Identification Crime Scene Search equipment.
2. The City of Euless is authorized to enter into binding contracts
with low compliant vendor (s) and to purchase an Expanded Identi-
fication Crime Scene Section.
3. This City understands that the Texas Criminal Justice Division
is providing 100 percent funding for the purchase of the equipment.
