WHEREAS, one Mr. Cecil Carr has offered to the City of
Euless land lying and situated within the City for use as a
park facility to serve the recreational needs of the citizens
of the community, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Euless desires
to accept such gift on behalf of the City and to express on
behalf of its citizens appreciation for the generous donation
of Mr. Carr.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Euless, Texas, meeting in regular session and
on motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted, that
the donation of land offered by Mr. Cecil Carr be and the
same is hereby gratefully accepted and that the City Council
of the City of Euless on behalf of the citizens of such City
does express hereby its gratitude and appreciation to Cecil
Carr for his generous donation of some three (3) acres of
land lying and situated within the City.
ADOPTED, this the 23rd day of December, 1975, at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
