HomeMy WebLinkAbout76-381 01-27-1976RESOLUTION NO. 381 WHEREAS, the Euless City Council recognizes that the function of the Hurst - Euless - Bedford Hospital Authority is the health cape of the community and the tri- cities area, and WHEREAS, the Hurst - Euless- Bedford Hospital Authority Board of Directors on January 22, 1976, establised a Board Committee to undertake an evaluation study of existing emergency ambulance facilities in the three cities, and WHEREAS, this Board Committee is to make recommendations for immediate relief upon existing needs, receive data input from each of the three parent cities as to the long range needs and planning, contact other sources of data input including other municipalities, manufacturers and private operators for information relating to the use of an owned or private service, and then present the three cities with their findings, assimilated data, conclusions and recommendations for the most effective and economical method of operation for emergency ambulance service for our area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, that the City cooperate with the authority to the end that a better and more effective emergency ambulance service may be shown to be more economically operated by the Hurst - Euless- Bedford Hospital Authority Board of Directors. PASSED AND APPROVED this 27th day of January, 1976, by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
