A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING
CERTAIN PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE ZONING ORDINANCE
NO. 347; AND DIRECTING THAT NOTICES BE ISSUED IN
THE MANNER REQUIRED BY LAW.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
THAT a public hearing be held by this Council on the date, at the
time and place, in the manner and concerning the matters specified in
the "Notice of Public Hearing ", attached hereto and made a part of this
Resoluiton; and
THAT notice of such hearing shall be given as required by Articles
1011a to 1011 -1, both inclusive, of Vernon's Civil Statutes of the State
of Texas.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 25th day of January , 19 77 ,
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing will be held by the City Council of the
City of Euless, Texas, in the Council Chambers of the Euless
City Hall, Euless, Texas, on the 8th day of February
19 77 , at 8:00
o'clock p. m., at which time parties in
interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard
concerning proposed amendments, supplements, changes, modifications
and /or repeals to the Zoning Ordinance No. 347 of the City of
Euless, as specified on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and
made a part of this notice.

THAT the zoning classification of the following described property,
now zoned
R -2 Two - Family District
be changed to R -1 Single Family District
The following described tract or parcel of land being a
portion of Lot 9, Lot 10, Lot 11, Lot 22, Lot 23 and Lot 24,
Block 2, J. E. WHITENER ESTATES, to the City of Euless, Tarrant
County, Texas according to plat recorded on Page 139 of
Volume 388 -J in the Tarrant County Deed Records and being more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING in the East line of said Lot 11 and being N 0° 05' W
a distance of 235.0 from the Southeast corner of said Lot 11;
THENCE N 0° 05' W a distance of 573.0 feet to the centerline
of a creek;
THENCE along the centerline of said creek;
N 60° 00' W a distance of 155.0 feet;
S 69° 00' W a distance of 95.0 feet;
N 15° 00' E a distance of 150.0 feet;
N 53° 00' W a distance of 85.0 feet;
S 58° 04' 20" W a distance of 133.21 feet to the
West line of said Lot 24;
THENCE S 0° 05' E a distance of 743.00 feet;
THENCE N 89° 51' E a distance of 364.8 feet to place of
beginning.

ESTATES, to the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas according
to plat recorded on Page 139 of Volume 388 -J in the Tarrant
County Deed Records and being more particularly described
as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of said Lot 9 and being in
the North line of South Pipeline Road;
THENCE N 89° 51' E along the North line of said South
Pipeline Road a distance of 364.8 feet to the Southeast
corner of said Lot 11;
THENCE N 0° 05' W along the East line of said Lot 11 a
distance of 235.0 feet;
THENCE S 89° 51' E a distance of 364.8 feet to the West line
of said Lot 9;
THENCE S 0° 05' E along the East line of said Lot 9 a distance
of 235.0 feet to place of beginning, containing 85,728 square feet
of land more or less.
