WHEREAS, the City of Euless, Texas, has commenced construc-
tion of certain improvements to North Main Street in the City
of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, and
WHEREAS, there exists within the right -of -way of such street
an easement and pipeline of ARCO Oil and Gas Company, and
WHEREAS, to complete such contemplated improvements to North
Main Street there exists the need to relocate and encase a portion
of such existing easement and pipeline, and
WHEREAS, ARCO Oil and Gas Company has agreed to assume
responsibility for and perform the work necessary to remove and
encase such pipeline subject to reimbursement for the cost thereof
by the City of Euless, Texas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, in regular meeting duly assembled that
the City of Euless, Texas, does agree to pay ARCO Oil and Gas
Company the cost and expense, estimated at approximately Five
Thousand, Ninety -Two Dollars and Twenty -Seven Cents, ($5,092.27),
to extend existing casing on the east side of North Main Street
for approximately thirty feet (30') and lower and adjust the
existing eight inch (8 ") line for approximately one hundred feet
(100') upon the completion of such work by ARCO Oil and Gas
Company and the invoicing of same by ARCO to the City of Euless,
Texas.
ADOPTED, this the 27th day of September, 1977.
