HomeMy WebLinkAbout78-440 11-14-1978RESOLUTION NO. 440 A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING CERTAIN PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 347; AND DIRECTING THAT NOTICES BE ISSUED IN THE MANNER REQUIRED BY LAW. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: THAT a public hearing be held by this Council on the date, at the time and place, in the manner and concerning the matters specified in the "Notice of Public Hearing ", attached hereto and made a part of this Resoluiton; and THAT notice of such hearing shall be given as required by Articles 1011a to 1011 -1, both inclusive, of Vernon's Civil Statutes of the State of Texas. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 14th day of November , 1978 at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas. Mayor ATTEST: City Secretary L. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A Public Hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, in the Council Chambers of the Euless City Hall, Euless, Texas, on the 12th day of December 1978 , at 8:00 o'clock p.m., at which time parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning proposed amendments, supplements, changes, modifications and /or repeals to the Zoning Ordinance No. 347 of the City of Euless, as specified on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part of this notice. E X H I B I T "A" THAT the zoning classification of the following described property, now zoned "C -1" Neighborhood Business District be changed to "C -2" Community Business District The following described tract or parcel of land being a portion of Tract 27, Block 3, Somerset Place, First Installment, to the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, according to plat recorded on Page 56 of Volume 388-44 in the Tarrant County Deed Recrods and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING in the East line of North Main Street and being S 0° 15' W a distance of 125.0 feet from the intersection of the East line of said North Main Street with the South line of Midway Drive; THENCE N 88° 32' E a distance of 180.0 feet; THENCE S 0° 15' W a distance of 165.0 feet; THENCE S 88° 32' W a distance of 180.0 feet to the East line of said North Main Street; THENCE N 0° 15' E along the East line of said North Main Street a distance of 165.0 feet to place of beginning, containing 0.68 acres of land more or less.
