A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ENDORSING THE 1979 COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City of Euless shares in a cooperative agreement with
Tarrant County for essential Community Development assistance activities under
Public Law 93 -383, The Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, and
WHEREAS, after one public hearing for the purpose of identifying and
discussing Community Development needs, and one public hearing for the
purpose of receiving and adopting Community Development project proposals
have been duly held by the City of Euless, and
WHEREAS, after said public hearings and due considerations, the City
Council, City of Euless, determined that the projects, housing rehabilitation,
sidewalk construction, sanitary and storm sewer improvement in the Midway Park
Addition were eligible for funding under this Act, and approved the filing
of application for said funding, and
WHEREAS, it is understood that any funds not expended on the specifically
approved project will revert to the Community Development Contingency Fund.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas, that said 1979 Community Development Project for the City of Euless
be approved and endorsed.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of December, 1978.
