WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Board is composed of citizens of
Euless, and
WHEREAS, this Board was created to assist the City and the City Council
in the type of facilities and programs that will benefit the citizens of
Euless, and
WHEREAS, as our city increases in population, the types and variations of
activities increase and the Council will be relying more on this Board for
their input and suggestions, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Board will be forming a Steering Committee,
composed of citizens of all age groups, to help them formulate different ideas
and programs that will benefit all citizens of. Euless.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS, that by this Resolution, place on record its support of the
Park and Recreation Board and their endeavor to provide recreational activities
for all the citizens of Euless.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 10th day of July, 1979, at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Euless by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays.
