A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE HEALTH AUTHORITY FOR THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, V.T.C.A., Health and Safety Code, Section 121.021, provides for the
appointment of a qualified physician to serve as a Health Authority to administer the state
and local laws relating to public health within the appointing body's jurisdiction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1.
Dr. S. David Lloyd, M.D., M.B.A., is hereby officially appointed and confirmed to
serve as Health Authority for the City of Euless, Texas, effective immediately, to a term
expiring December 31, 2024, with successive terms by appointment of the City Council.
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
June 27, 2023, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 _ nays, and 0 abstentions.
