WHEREAS, the first five- member governing board of the central
tax appraisal district in Tarrant County is to be selected by the
participating subdivisions, and
WHEREAS, each City is entitled to nominate one candidate for
the position on the Board of Directors for their single member
district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Euless does,
by this Resolution, nominate Richard G. Parks, Certified Tax
Assessor for the Hurst - Euless Bedford School District and the
cities of Hurst, Euless, and Bedford, to represent Single Member
District No. 3 on the Board of Directors for the Central Tax
Appraisal District for Tarrant County.

and state -wide Conferences
Have served on the Legislative Property Tax Committee, with the
Governor's Office of Educational Resources and was a short -term
Reference Consultant with MSA.

Was Chairman for three years.for the TSAA Tax Office Accreditation
Committee and have also field inspected and reviewed several tax
offices over the state including .Midland and Pasadena for accreditation
rating proposes.
Have reviewed many tax offices for GOER and the STAP Board.
Have been a Field Review Officer each and every year such on -site
reviews were made for state funding.
Entered the assessment profession in 1954 and have been active in it
every year since. Have served as Assessor- Collector for the Spring
Branch ISD; plus four cities; the city of Houston & Houston ISD;
Irving ISD; and Hurst- Euless- Bedford and 3 cities. Have been with
H.E.B. since December, 1965.
Have a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education degree from
the University of Houston and taught at the Spring Branch High School.
Experience before that was in business and industry.
