CALL TO ORDER
A special called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Linda
Martin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 201
North Ector Drive.
Those present included Mayor Linda Martin, Mayor Pro Tern Eddie Price, Council
Members Tim Stinneford, Jeremy Tompkins, Eddie Price, Perry Bynum, Harry Zimmer,
and Tika Paudel.

Council Member Tika Paudel gave the invocation.
PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE
Council Member Jeremy Tompkins led the pledges of allegiance to the flags of the United
States and Texas.
ITEM NO. 1. SET PUBLIC HEARING ON FY 2023-2024 PROPOSED CITY OF
EULESS BUDGET FOR AUGUST 8, 2023
Mayor Martin introduced the item.
Council Member Stinneford motioned to set a public hearing for August 8, 2023, 7 p.m.
in the Euless City Council Chambers regarding the proposed City of Euless Budget for
Fiscal Year 2023-2024.
Council Member Tompkins seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Martin, Mayor Pro Tern Price, Council Members Stinneford,
Tompkins, Bynum, Zimmer, and Paudel

Nays: None
Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.
ITEM NO. 2. PLACE A PROPOSAL TO ADOPT CITY OF EULESS AD
VALOREM TAX RATE ON THE AUGUST 21, 2023 AGENDA
Mayor Martin introduced the item.
Mayor Pro Tern Price motioned to place a proposal to adopt the City of Euless proposed
Ad Valorem tax rate of 45.75 cents per $100 valuation on the August 21, 2023 City
Council agenda.
Council Member Bynum seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Martin, Mayor Pro Tern Price, Council Members Stinneford,
Tompkins, Bynum, Zimmer, and Paudel
Nays: None
Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.
ITEM NO. 3. SET PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CITY OF EULESS AD
VALOREM TAX RATE FOR AUGUST 21, 2023
Mayor Martin introduced the item.
Council Member Bynum motioned to schedule a public hearing on the proposed City of
Euless Ad Valorem Tax Rate for August 21, 2023.
Council Member Paudel seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Martin, Mayor Pro Tern Price, Council Members Stinneford,
Tompkins, Bynum, Zimmer, and Paudel
Nays: None
Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.
