A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
EULESS TO PARTICIPATE IN AN INCREASED
TRAFFIC LAW ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that the
best interest of the City of Euless will be served by
participating in this cooperative program, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Euless to reduce
injuries and fatal accidents, and
WHEREAS, this will need to be a program which implements
thorough effectiveness and evaluation of the problem areas of
the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
. The City of Euless desires to enter into and participate
in the Increased Traffic Law Enforcement Program.
2. The City Council authorizes and directs the City
Manager, W. M. Sustaire; to prepare the necessary
application for the program.
3. The City understands that funding for such project
will be requested through the Traffic Safety
Division under the State Department of Highways
and Public Transportation.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS 10th day of June, 1980, at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
