A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF EULESS
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRAFFIC SAFETY
COORDINATION AREA PROGRAM
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that the
best interest of the City of Euless will be served by
participating in this cooperative program, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Euless to reduce
accidents that cause injuries and fatalities, and
WHEREAS, this will provide assistance to the extent possible
to District 2 of the State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation in the identification of traffic safety problems
and countermeasure design, implementation and evaluation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1. The City of Euless desires to enter into and
participate in the Traffic Safety Coordination
Area Program.
2. The City Council authorizes and directs the City
Manager, W. M. Sustaire, to prepare the necessary
application for the program.
3. The City understands that funding for such project
will be requested through the Traffic Safety
Division under the State Department of Highways and
Public Transportation.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS 10th day of June, 1980, at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
