PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

MINUTES
The pre -session meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order by
Chairman Steve Ellis at 6:00 p.m. on June 7, 2022, in the Pre -Council Conference Room
of City Hall, 201 North Ector Drive. Those present included Chairman Steve Ellis, Vice
Chairman LuAnn Portugal and Commission Members: Richard Barker, Curtis Brown,
David Brown, Eric Owens and Ronald Dunckel.
STAFF PRESENT:
Michael Warrix, Director of Planning and Economic Development
Don Sheffield, Assistant Director of Planning and Economic Development
Rachel Raggio, City Attorney
Yvonne Garcia, Administrative Secretary of Planning and Economic Development
Ken Rawlinson, Fire Marshal
James Patterson, Code Supervisor
During the Pre -Session Meeting:
➢ Director of Planning and Economic Development, Michael Warrix presented a brief
Development Update.
➢ City Attorney, Rachel Raggio gave a briefing on a proposed short-term rental
ordinance and was available to address any questions.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:49 p.m.
