A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EULESS
TO OBTAIN ASSISTANCE OF THE
TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS
IN PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES
WHEREAS, the City of Euless recognizes the need to assure proper and orderly
growth of the community, to prevent development of undersirable conditions, to
establish better methods of coordinating programs, aimed at the development of
local resources and services and to improve the implementation of locally
developed policies and plans; and
WHEREAS, personnel management is recognized to be of primary importance of
the future development and /or redevelopment of the City of Euless; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Community Affairs - Division of Local
Government Services - has technical staff who are capable of assisting local
officials and /or citizens to accomplish certain personnel management activities in
a comprehensive planning process; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Euless requests personnel
management assistance from the Texas Department of Community Affairs -
Division of Local Government Services - and that these services will be
coordinated with the personnel office of the City of Euless.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Euless will designate the personnel
office to work with the technical staff of the Texas Department of Community
Affairs in scheduling meetings.
APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 22nd day of
June, 1982.
