A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF EULESS
TO SEEK FINANCAIL ASSISTANCE FROM THE TEXAS
CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVISION FOR EQUIPMENT,
PERSONNEL, AND OTHER EXPENSES TO PROVIDE
A COLOR FILM PHOTO LAB TO ALL NORTHEAST
TARRANT COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICE AGENCIES.
WHEREAS, the current equipment is presently inadequate and inef-
ficient to process color film at a quality necessary for police
agencies, and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless does not have sufficient financial
resources to provide the surrounding law enforcement agencies with
this equipment, and
WHEREAS, this additional equipment will allow the City of Euless
and surrounding cities law enforcement agencies to increase their
present capabilities of recording and reproducing crime scenes in
accordance with judicial guidelines, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this City Council that the best
interest of all cities will be served by participating in this program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1. The City of Euless desires to participate in the photo lab
program.
2. This city understands that the Texas Criminal Justice Division
is providing 100 percent funding except on equipment purchases
whereas the :City ,of Euless will provide 50 percent funding.
3. This city further understands that this program is to continue
for a period of one (1) year and that the Texas Criminal
Justice Division will provide funding. At the end of this
period, all funding will be assumed by the City of Euless.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 8th day of March, 1983, at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
