WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Euless wishes for
the City of Euless to participate in a grant program; and
WHEREAS, the grant program will be through the Euless Police
Department and will be coordinated with the State of Texas;
and
WHEREAS, the grant will be a STEP grant for "National
Maximum Speed Limit Enforcement" control within the City of
Euless; and
WHEREAS, the grantor requires that a designated representative
of the City of Euless be appointed by the City Council of the
City of Euless to sign all documents for reimbursement purposes
relating to said grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, THAT James R. Hickerson, Director of Finance, City of
Euless, be designated as the person to sign for reimbursement
purposes all documents relating to the grant funding for the
"National Maximum Speed Limit Enforcement" grant for the City
of Euless.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the
12th day of March, 1985.
