RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION WITHIN
THE TARRANT COUNTY 9 -1 -1 EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE DISTRICT
THE STATE OF TEXAS a
COUNTY OF TARRANT 8
WHEREAS, the City of Euless, Texas, is a city
that lies wholly or partly within Tarrant County; and
WHEREAS, a majority of the votes cast by the voters of the City of
Euless , in the April 6, 1985 election, as found in the
Final Official Canvass of the Election Records of Tarrant County, Texas,
County Clerk's Office were in favor of confirming the creation of the
Tarrant County 9 -1 -1 Emergency Assistance District and authorizing a 9 -1 -1
emergency service fee to be charged;
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Euless_
State of Texas:
That the matters and facts recited in the preamble of this Resolution
are found and determined to be true and correct; and
That the City of Euless, Texas, become a participating
jurisdiction of the Tarrant County 9 -1 -1 Emergency Assistance District
pursuant to the provisions of the Emergency Communication District Act
(Article 1432d, Vernon's Texas Civil Statues) with all the rights, privileges
and duties as stated in said Act, particularly the charging and collecting of the
9 -1 -1 emergency service fee according to the terms of said Act.
It is understood that once °confirmed, the Tarrant County 9 -1 -1 Emergency
Assistance District will be subject to public review every three (3) years,
pursuant to Section 16 of the Emergency Communication District Act and that the
continued existence or dissolution of the Tarrant County 9 -1 -1 Emergency Assistance
District will be effected only by the terms of said Act.
Passed and adopted this 14th day of May , 1985.
