WHEREAS: It is the desire of the Euless City Council that
the public building grounds and public park grounds of the City of
Euless be neat, clean, and pleasing to the eye; and
WHEREAS: The Euless Park and Recreation Department strives
to maintain City grounds and park and recreational facilities in the
best possible condition; and
WHEREAS: The Euless Parks and Recreation Department takes
great pride in their work and the results of their endeavors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS, THAT
The Euless City Council recognizes that the public grounds
within Euless have become greatly enhanced in recent years due to the
hard work and dedication of the Park and Recreation Board and the Park
and Recreation Department; and
The City Council fully supports the entry by the City of
Euless in the 1985 Governor's Beautification Program competition, and
feels the pursuit of such an endeavor will bring even more pride and
recognition to beautiful Euless and the services performed by these
participants.
And that Councilwoman Carolyn Park and Helen Lightbody be
hereby appointed Co- Chairpersons of the 1985 Governor's Beautifica-
tion Program Committee.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
the 11th day of June, 1985, by a vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays, and 0
abstentions.
