Ector Drive • Euless, Texas 76039 -3595 • 817/283 -5381 Metro 267 -4403 1 1 FILE COPY March 26, 1986 Bob McFarland Attorney at Law P. O. Box 13060 Arlington, Texas 76094 -0060 Dear Mr. McFarland: Here is a recap of the several agenda items that were on last night's agenda and need your attention. 1.) Agenda Item 9: Resolution for improvement to Harwood Road. Tom asked that this be passed over, and he may not want it for Harwood, but rather for 157, but he said you would redo the resolution. I suppose it will be sct for the April 8th agenda, but I don't know if there is any rush on it. 2) • Agenda. Item 10: Resolution_No. 86 -626, authorizing City Manager to sign contract for litter program. The Council approved this item, and Tom said that your office was preparing the resolution. 3) Agenda Item 11: Resolution No. 86 -627, permission to conduct shopping center carnival promotion. The Council approved this, and Tom said your office was bringing the resolution to the City Council meeting last night. 4) Agenda Item 13: This was an audience by Thomas Jackson, concerning the sign ordinance. The Council moved to prepare an interim amendment whereby they can grant a variance in unusual circumstances for distance and spacing; of pole signs. If you have time to do it by April 8th, we'll place it on that agenda. This is a lot, and I'm sorry about it, but felt compelled to "memo you" on it because it's a little confusing. Let me know if I can help. Very truly yours, Kay Rainey, CMC City Secretary KR Enclosures ALLIED SPECIALTY INSURANCE, INC. P.O.
