A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ACCESSMENT RULE AND ENGINEERS
COST AND ESTIMATES FOR IMPROVEMENTS OF A PORTION OF
HIGHWAY 157; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
Section 1
The City Council of the City of Euless, Texas has previously determined the
necessity for improving State Highway 157, between state Highway 10 and State
Highway 183, and has announced it intention to assess for the improvements.
Section 2
The City Engineer has prepared a cost estimate for the project. The total cost of
the project is approximately $4,116,750. A portion of this project is to be funded by
the State of Texas. The approximate cost to the City of Euless, Texas is $905,395.
Section 3
At the direction of the City Engineer, an assessment role has been prepared setting
forth the names of all property owners which hold title to property abutting that
portion of Highway 157 which is to be improved and whose property may be subject
to assessment. A true and correct copy of the assessment rule is attached to this
resolution.
Section 4
This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
ADOPTED this 8th day of July at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council, by a
vote of 4 ayes, n nays, and n abstentions.
