RESOLUTION APPROVING & ENDORSING
CREDITING ADDITIONAL CDBG FUNDS TO THE
CITY'S CURRENT TWELFTH YEAR CDBG PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Euless shares in a cooperative agreement with
Tarrant County for central community development assistance activities under
Public Law 93 -383, The Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as
amended; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless' current 12th Year Community Development
Block Grant funding plan calls for an estimated project cost of $134,558.00, of
which, $48,000.00 have been approved to be funded through the CDBG funds; and
WHEREAS, an additional $15,000.00 per city, above what has already been
funded for the twelfth year projects, may be allocated to participating cities;
and
WHEREAS, at least one public hearing for the purpose of identifying and
discussing community development needs, and receiving and adopting community
development projects, has been duly held by the City of Euless;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Euless City Council that the
additional $15,000.00 CDBG funds that may be allocated to the City of Euless be
credited to the City of Euless' current twelfth year project consisting of storm
drainage improvements in Midway Park Addition.
