A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE TIME OF CONVENING
OF THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETINGS OF THE
EULESS CITY COUNCIL TO 7:00 P.M. DURING THE
PERIOD IN WHICH CENTRAL DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME
SHALL BE IN EFFECT.
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Euless, Texas,
provides that the City Council, shall, by appropriate
resolution, fix the time for its regular meetings to be held
twice monthly; and
WHEREAS, by appropriate resolution the Euless City
Council has designated the second and fourth Tuesday of each
month as the date for its regular meetings, with same
convening at 8:00 p.m. on such date; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires, for and during the
period in which Central Daylight Savings Time shall be in
effect, to convene such regularly scheduled monthly meeting
at 7:00 p.m., rather than 8:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
The regularly scheduled meetings of the Euless City
Council shall be held on the second and fourth Tuesday of
each month.
During the period in which Central Daylight Savings Time
shall be in effect, such regularly scheduled Council meetings
shall be convened at 7:00 P.M.
At all other times during the year the regularly
scheduled meetings of the Euless City Council shall convene
at 8:00 P.M.
This resolution shall be effective from and after its
adoption and publication.
ADOPTED this 25th day of August, 1987, at a regular
meeting of the Euless City Council by a vote of 5
ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
