WHEREAS, the City of Euless Park and Recreation Departments wish to
enter the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA)
Gold Medal Award Contest for excellence in this field; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this competition is to annually select and
honor the nation's outstanding Park and Recreation
Departments according to population; and
WHEREAS, the Euless Park and Recreation Departments have been honored
in the past for their excellence by various individuals and
groups.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Euless, Texas, that the Euless Park and Recreation
Departments enter the National Recreation and Park
Association (NRPA) Gold Medal Award Contest.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 8th day of December, 1987.
