WHEREAS, our law enforcement officers are the guardians of
life and property, defenders of the right to be free
individuals, and are dedicated to the preservation of
life and property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Euless wishes to
acknowledge their support of the City of Euless Police
Department; and
WHEREAS,
recently, certain events have painfully and
starkly brought to light the need for a strong and
cohesive support for our police department by our
governing body; and
WAS, the City Council of the City of Euless wants the
Euless Police Department to know that the City Council
stands behind them one hundred percent and has
confidence in their ability to carry out duties
required by their positions, and that the City Council
appreciates their dedication to making Euless a safe
place to live.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT the City Council supports the
Euless Police Department; and the City Council calls
upon the citizens of Euless, to make every effort to
express their appreciation to the Euless Police
.
UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and City Council of
