Dear Citizens,
2024 is off to a
great start with
E many activities
underway. One
exciting city
improvement
highlighted
in this edition
of Euless Today is the renovation
and expansion of the Police and
Court facility located close to the
intersection of Euless Boulevard
and FM 157 (Industrial Boulevard).
Each year, one outstanding
employee is selected by their peers
as the Employee of the Year. This
year's recipient, Police Sergeant
Scott Peterson, was a wonderful
choice. In addition to his many
duties in the Police Department,
Scott assisted in the design of
the Police facility renovation.
During this process he was able
to utilize 30+ years of experience
in Police operations as well as his
architectural knowledge.
Euless is so very proud and honored
to have Sergeant Peterson in our
ranks. He brings an immeasurable
amount of talent and value to
the City. Sergeant Peterson is an
outstanding individual who goes
above and beyond all year long.

Renovations Begin on the Police
and Court Facility
The renovation and expansion of the Police and Municipal Court Facility, which
has served Euless residents well over these past 22 years, has begun. The City's
growth has increased the need for additional space to effectively carry out all the
functions housed at the facility. Approximately 30,000 square feet is being added to
the existing building, with construction expected to last 18 to 24 months. The new
design will ensure the employees have the necessary workspace to provide Euless
residents with continued excellent service.
During the renovation, the Police Department has temporarily moved some of its
operations to 1314 Royal Parkway, Suite B. Residents can visit this location during
business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for any Police
Department need. The Municipal Court and City Jail still operate at the existing
location at 1102 West Euless Boulevard. The City Jail will serve as the after-hours
location for citizens in need of Police services. During the construction process, all
telephone numbers and response to citizen requests will remain unchanged.
Your support during the construction phase is greatly appreciated. This renovation
allows the Police Department and Municipal Court the ability to continue providing
quality service for many years into the future. The City of Euless looks forward to
showing the remodeled Police and Court Facility at its open house in 2026. For more
information regarding the renovation, watch for updates on the Police Department's
social media accounts and the City of Euless website during the construction.

was chosen by his peers and this honor is a testament
to his exceptional work ethic and the impact he has
made on our organization.
