WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Election Code
of Texas and the Euless City Charter, it is provided that
held a special election to fill a vacancy in office
Council of the City of Euless.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:

The following persons are hereby appointed to act as Absentee Ballot
Board Officers for said special election for City Council Place One,
to be held on May 6, 1989: Dorothy Wilkinson, Election Judge; and J.
J. Birchard, Assistant Election Judge. The Election Judge is
authorized and directed to appoint one or more clerks to assist in the
conduct of the Absentee Ballot Board. These officers are appointed by
issuing the prescribed form by the Secretary of States Office.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 28th
day of March, 1989.
