A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS
PROPERTY BY AUCTION AND /OR THE BID PROCESS.
WHEREAS, Section 3 of the City Charter authorizes sale of surplus,
obsolete or unused supplies, materials or equipment; and
WHEREAS, an auction is usually conducted once per year; and
WHEREAS, it is more advantageous to sell certain items of surplus
personal property through a bid process rather than by auction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1.
The City Manager or his appointed designee is authorized to dispose of
surplus personal property no longer in use for the 1990 -1991 fiscal
year through either sale at public auction or by published bid as
deemed appropriate.
