WHEREAS, Euless Zoning Ordinance No. 347, Section 7 -1000 provides for
specific use permits for certain types of business operations within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless Zoning Ordinance No. 347, Section 7 -1002 (49)
Concrete or Asphalt Batching Plant (Temporary), provides for approval by special
resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Austin Bridge Company, Dallas, Texas, has requested of the City
Council to operate such a temporary concrete batch plant within Euless; and
WHEREAS, said plant is proposed to be located at 525 Glade Road, in the
right -of -way of proposed State Highway 360; and
WHEREAS, said plant will be used for the paving of a portion of State Highway
360 and will be utilized for such purpose for a period of approximately one (1) year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of Euless,
Texas, that said resolution be approved whereby Austin Bridge Company, P. O. Box
1590, Dallas, Texas, 75221, will have permission to operate a temporary concrete
batch plant within the City of Euless at 525 Glade Road and within the right -of -way
of proposed State Highway 360 for a period not to exceed one (1) year from date
hereof, such batch plant to be utilized solely for construction of State Highway 360.
ADOPTED AT A REGULAR MEETING of the Euless City Council on
February 26, 1991, by a vote of 3 ayes, 1 nays, and 0 abstentions.
