CONCURRING IN THE STATE'S DETERMINATION THAT A PORTION OF
THE STATE'S RIGHT -OF -WAY IS NO LONGER NEEDED AS A ROAD AND
THAT THE RIGHT -OF -WAY BE QUITCLAIMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
STATE REGULATIONS
WHEREAS, the State of Texas acquired and holds in its own name right -of -way on
State Highway 360 as described in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part
hereof; and
WHEREAS, the State of Texas has determined that said right -of -way is no longer
needed for the construction, maintenance and operation of State Highway 360; and
WHEREAS, city staff has studied the public need for said right -of -way and has
determined that said right -of -way is no longer needed by the citizens as a road
for public transportation purposes, and is not suitable for conservation, park,
recreation and /or similar purposes.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1. That the State's right -of -way shown on the attached Exhibit A is no longer
needed by the citizens as a road and is not suitable for conservation, park,
public transportation, recreation or similar purposes;
2. That the City of Euless concurs in the State's plan to dispose of the
right -of -way in accordance with the established laws and regulations of the
State of Texas.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 25th day of
February 1992, by a vote of 6 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.

EXHIBIT A
Being 2.5010 acres of land, more or less, situated in the County of Tarrant,
State of Texas, and being out of the A. Barnard Survey, Abstract number 107, and
being a part of Parcel 23, Part 2 conveyed to the State of Texas by deed dated
October 13, 1980 and recorded in Volume 7030, Page 1530 of the Deed Records of
Tarrant County, Texas, which 2.5010 acres of land, more or less, are more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a set right -of -way monument at the intersection of the north
right -of -way line of proposed Midway Road and the west right -of -way line of
State Highway 360, said monument being 607.04 feet westerly of and at right
angles to the centerline of State Highway 360 at survey station 23 +88.80, said
point also being North, a distance of 923.16 feet and East, a distance of 295.93
feet from the southwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to H.T. Ardinger &
Son, Co. as recorded in Volume 7152, Page 1314 of the Deed Records, Tarrant
County, Texas;
THENCE along said west right -of -way line of State Highway 360 the following
courses and distances:
(1) North 38° 00' 19" East (North 38° 00" East), a distance of 117.54 feet to a
found 1/2 inch iron pin;
(2) In a northerly direction along the arc of a circular curve to the right
having a radius of 507.46 feet and through a central angle of 13'10'06" a
distance of 116.63 feet to a found 1/2 inch iron pin at a point of
tangency;
(3) North 13° 18' 24" East (North 13° 18' East), a distance of 356.22 feet to a
found 1/2 inch iron pin;
(4) In a northerly direction along the arc of a circular curve to the left
having a radius of 696.20 feet and through a central angle of 17 °30'04" a
distance of 212.65 feet to a set right -of -way monument at the southeast
corner of Parcel 23(E), Part -6, a drainage easement conveyed to the State
of Texas in Volume 7030, Page 1530 of the Deed Records, Tarrant County;
THENCE along the proposed west right -of -way line of State Highway 360 the
following courses and distances:
(5) South 19° 57' 54" East (South 19° 58" East), a distance of 100.00 feet to a
set right -of -way monument, said monument being 230.00 feet westerly of and
at right angles to the centerline of State Highway 360 at survey station
17 +91.12;
(6) South 14° 14' 10" East (South 14° 14' East), a distance of 546.68 feet to a
set right -of -way monument in the proposed north right -of -way line of Midway
Road;

(7) South 30° 45' 50" West (South 30° 46" West), a distance of 70.71 feet to a
set right -of -way monument;

Being 2.7292 acres of land, more or less, situated in the County of Tarrant,
State of Texas, and being out of the A. Barnard Survey, Abstract number 107, and
being portions of Parcel 23, Part 2 and Parcel 6, Part 1 conveyed to the State
of Texas by deeds dated October 13, 1980 and September 24, 1973 and recorded in
Volume 7030, Page 1530 and Volume 5582, Page 264 respectively of the Deed
Records of Tarrant County, Texas, which 2.7292 acres of land, more or less, are
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a set right -of -way monument at the intersection of the south
right -of -way line of proposed Midway Road and the west right -of -way line of
State Highway 360;
THENCE along said south right -of -way line of proposed Midway Road the following
courses and distances:
(1) North 75° 22' 58" East (North 75° 23 East), a distance of 330.01 feet to a
set right -of -way monument;
(2) South 59° 14' 10" East (South 59° 14' East), a distance of 70.71 feet to a
set right -of -way monument in the proposed west right -of -way line of State
Highway 360;
THENCE along the proposed west right -of -way line of State Highway 360 the
following courses and distances:
(3) South 14° 14' 10" East (South 14° 14 East), a distance of 379.93 feet to a
set right-of-way monument at a point of tangency, said point being 230.00
feet westerly of and at right angles to the centerline of State Highway 360
at survey station 29 +27.73;
(4) In a southerly direction along the arc of a circular curve to the right
hazing a radius of 11,429.16 feet and through a central angle of
01 35' 13" a distance of 316.56 feet to a set right -of -way monument in the
south line of said Parcel 23, Part 2;
(5) In a southeasterly direction continuing along the arc of a circular curve
to thg right having a radius of 11,429.16 feet and through a central angel
of 00 42' 58" a distance of 142.83 feet to a set right -of -way monument in
the present westerly right -of -way line of State Highway 360, said point
being North a distance of 46.08 feet and East a distance of 897.92 feet
from the southwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to H.T. Ardinger &
Son, Co. as recorded in Volume 7152, Page 1314 of the Deed Records, Tarrant
County, Texas.
THENCE along the present westerly right -of -way line of State Highway 360 the
following courses and distances:

(6) In a northwesterly direction along the arc of a circular curve to the left
having a radius of 924.93 feet and through a central angle of 08 54' 12" a
distance of 143.73 feet to a found right -of -way monument at the southwest
corner of Parcel 23, Part 2;
(7) In a northwesterly direction continuing along the arc of a circular curve
to the left having a radius of 924.93 feet and through a central angle of
15° 48' 30 a distance of 255.19 feet to a found 1/2 inch iron pin at a
point of tangency;
(8) North 38° 59' 34" West (North 39° 00' West), a distance of 380.00 feet to a
found 1/2 inch iron pin at a point of tangency;
(9) In a northwesterly direction along the arc of a circular curve to Xhe right
having a radius of 507.46 feet and through a central angle of 08'44'14" a
distance of 77.38 feet to a found 1/2 inch iron pin;
(10) North 64° 30' 39 West (North 64° 31" West), a distance of 129.63 feet to
the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Note: Bearing shown in parenthesis refer to the State's bearings on Project
Number 8002 -1 -38.
Grantee's use of and access to the adjacent highway facility, of which the above
described tracts were a part, shall be and forever remain subject to the same
regulation by legally constituted authority as applied to the public's use
thereof; and, that access will be permitted to and from the right -of -way of
State Highway 360.
