A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN INSTALLMENTS OF
DEMOLITION LIEN LEVIED AGAINST PROPERTY LOCATED AT
505 SLAUGHTER, EULESS, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City of Euless, Texas, operating under the Uniform Code for
the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings as adopted in the City, has heretofore been
compelled to demolish a dangerous building located at 505 Slaughter in the City of
Euless, Texas; and
WHEREAS, said Uniform Code authorizes the City Council of the City of
Euless, Texas, in its discretion, to allow payment of the charges incurred by the
City for said demolition in installments; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to allow payment of said
demolition charges in installments as provided below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
That the charges and costs incurred by the City of Euless for demolishing the
building(s) situated upon the property located at 505 Slaughter, Euless, Texas, in the
total amount of $2,825.20 may be paid in a maximum of two (2) installments over a
period of time not to exceed four (4) months from the date of this resolution, same
being April 14, 1992.
II.
That said installment payments shall bear interest at the rate of ten percent
(10 %) per annum, beginning August 14, 1992.
