WHEREAS, the City of Euless and Tarrant County have resolved to conduct a joint
election on May 1, 1993, pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Election Code,
and
WHEREAS, a vacancy has occurred in the position of Alternate Judge for the Bear
Creek Elementary School polling place,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS,
THAT:
SECTION 1
Voting on Election Day, May 1, 1993, shall be conducted at two polling places,
Bear Creek Elementary School, 401 Bear Creek Drive, Euless, Texas, and the City
of Euless Midway Park Recreation Center, 300 West Midway Drive, Euless, Texas,
between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Registered voters living in County
Precincts 3036, 3160, 3183, 3247, 3329, 3335, 3336 3414 and 3432, will vote at
the Midway Park Recreation Center. Registered voters living in County Precincts
3216, 3322, 3389 and 3390 will vote at Bear Creek Elementary School.
SECTION 2
Linda Stevens is hereby appointed Alternate Judge for the Bear Creek Elementary
School polling place and shall serve with Martha Burleson, Election Judge.
If the Presiding Judge actually serves as expected, the Alternate Presiding Judge
shall serve as one of the clerks. All appointments shall be in accordance with
the terms and provisions of the Texas Election Code. Election judges and clerks
shall be compensated for services rendered at a precinct polling place at an
hourly rate of $5 per hour.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 13th day of April,
1993, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
