AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 93 -821, SECTION 3, TO CORRECT
THE DATE FOR THE LAST DAY TO FILE FOR A PLACE ON THE
BALLOT IN THE NOVEMBER 2, 1993 SPECIAL ELECTION TO FILL
PLACE 5 ON THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 93 -821, approved by the Euless City Council on
August 24, 1993, incorrectly gave September 28, 1993 as the last day to file for
a place on the ballot in the November 2, 1993 Special Election to fill Place 5
on the City Council, and;
WHEREAS, the correct date for the last day to file for a place on the
ballot is September 20, 1993;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Euless City Council that Resolution
No. 93 -821, Section 3, is hereby amended to read:
SECTION 3
Applications for candidacy to the office of City Council Member Place 5 shall be
made to the City Secretary of the City of Euless not sooner than 8:00 a.m. August
25, 1993, and not later than 5:00 p.m., September 20, 1993, in the manner and
form as prescribed by law, and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Euless,
Texas.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 14th day of
September, 1993, by a vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
