RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AGREEMENTS CONTINUING ORDINANCE NO. 1093 TO
OCTOBER 14, 1994.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1093 did extend Section 11, Ordinance No. 20, The
Code of Ordinances of the City of Euless, Texas, as amended, to provide for a
continuing term of the agreement by and between the City of Euless, Texas, and
Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, from October 14, 1993, through April 14,
1994; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1093, by its express terms authorizes the
continuation of such Ordinance for an additional six (6) month period from April 14,
1994 to October 14, 1994; and
WHEREAS, such continuation, by the terms of such Ordinance, can be effected
by written agreement by and between the City of Euless, Texas, and Southwestern
Bell Telephone Company; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, to
so extend such Ordinance and authorize the execution of an agreement effecting
same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager of the City of Euless, Texas, is authorized to execute `and
enter into a written agreement with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company
continuing Ordinance No. 1093, and the agreement evidenced thereby between the
City of Euless, Texas and Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for a period from
April 14, 1994 to October 14, 1994. Except as to the continuation of Ordinance 1093
to October 14, 1994, it is understood that all other terms and conditions of such
ordinance shall continue in full force and effect.
