A RESOLUTION SUSPENDING THE PROPOSED EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE PROPOSED
SCHEDULE OF CHANGED RATES AND SERVICE REGULATIONS OF LONE STAR GAS
COMPANY, PROVIDING THAT THE RATES AND SERVICE REGULATIONS OF SAID
COMPANY SHALL REMAIN UNCHANGED DURING THE PERIOD OF SUSPENSION,
PROVIDING FOR NOTICE HEREOF TO SAID COMPANY, AND FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION IS PASSED IS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC A REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Lone Star Gas Company heretofore, on May 11, 1994 filed with the Governing
Body of this municipality its Petition and Statement of Intent together with its rate - filing package,
proposing to change its rates for gas service and service regulations within the corporate limits
of this municipality, effective on June 16, 1994, and
WHEREAS, in order to allow sufficient time for the consideration of the voluminous data filed
by said Company, it is the desire of the Governing Body of the municipality to suspend, the
proposed effective date of said proposed changed rates and service regulations for a period of 90
days from May 24, 1994: NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the effective date of the proposed changed rates and service regulations of
Lone Star Gas Company is hereby suspended for a period of 90 days from May 24, 1994.
SECTION 2. That the rates for gas service within this municipality in effect on May 24, 1994,
shall continue in force during the period of suspension as provided in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That the City Secretary of this municipality is hereby directed to deliver a copy
of this Resolution to Lone Star Gas Company promptly after the passage hereof.
SECTION 4. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
Resolution is passed is open to the public and that public notice of the time, place and purpose
of said meeting was given, all as required by law.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas, on the 24th day of May, 1994, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, and 0
abstentions.
