Called Meeting
Euless City Council
March 13, 1958
The Council met in a called session on
March 13, 1958, at 7:30 p.m.
Present were Mayor Ernest Millican, Jr.,
presiding and Councilmen J. S. Anderson, S. H. Cadenhead, Paul Horton, and
W. 0. Murray.
Councilman Horton moved that the City
Secretary have six prints made of Midway Park Addition plat. The motion received
a second from Councilman Murray and it was adopted.
A second motion by Councilman Horton,
seconded by Councilman Murray, proposed that the resignation of Mr. F. D.
Sheppard be accepted, effective March 15 at close of working day, and provided
that Mr. Sheppard be reimbursed in the sum of $100.00 additional cash on
payment of uniforms he had purchased. The motion was adopted.
Councilman Cadenhead offered a motion,
seconded by Councilman Murray, that Resolution No. 14, providing for the City
to borrow money from Hurst State Bank, be adopted. The motion was adopted by
unanimous vote.
The meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m.

Councilman Cadenhead offered a motion, seconded by Councilman Murray, that
the City Council borrow money from Hurst State Bank to pay off the note
on the patrol car at Arlington State Bank and authorize the City Secretary
to begin payments of $75.00 monthly on the note at the Hurst State Bank
effective April and each succeeding month until the note is paid. The
motion was adopted and a copy of same inserted in the minutes of a special
meeting on March 13, 1958• (From minutes of April 15, 1958 meeting.)
