that reflect both the guidelines set
by the National Advisory Council

to recognize individual governments
that succeed in achieving that goal.

Enjoy the Extensive Park Trails of Euless
The Euless park system includes over seven miles of trails. The longest trail begins
at 2400 Heritage Avenue (in Glade Parks), and winds through various parks before
ending at 1900 Bear Creek Parkway.
The trails vary in width, even up to eight feet across, using different materials like
concrete and crushed limestone, depending on the location and topography. Many
of these trails connect with the system of sidewalks that crisscross throughout the
City. These mixed -use trails can be used for biking, walking, jogging, and similar
activities.
A special feature added along the route is the bike repair station located along the
Glade Parks trail near Rio Grande Boulevard. The fully -equipped, bicycle repair
station includes all the tools necessary to perform basic bike repairs and maintenance,
from changing a flat to adjusting brakes and derailleurs.
Safety Tips
Here are some tips to stay safe while using these multi -use trails:
• Bicyclists and runners must yield to walkers.
• When passing another trail user, speak in
a normal voice, and announce your presence.
• Bicyclists must be in control at all times.
• All trail users must yield before crossing a trail.
• Pet leashes should be kept to no more than six
feet in length, and you must clean up after
your pets.
• Stay on open trails and respect private property.
Leave no trace and never scare animals.
• Stick to lighted paths after dark.
These trails are for use by everyone. Please do your part and always be alert,
responsible, and courteous.
