RESOLUTION NO. 96 -951
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING
SERVICES WITH THE HOOVER GROUP IN THE AMOUNT OF $67,800 FOR
THE DESIGN OF UTILITY RELOCATIONS ON F.M. 157 BETWEEN S.H. 183
AND S.H. 121
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the City of Euless
desire to design and construct paving and drainage improvements to F.M. 157; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless is responsible for accomplishing utility relocations
hereinafter identified as the "Project ", prior to the construction of said improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless has negotiated a contract for engineering services with The
Hoover Group in the lump sum amount of $67,800 for the design of the Project; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Euless City Council hereby accepts
the terms of the contract negotiated with The Hoover Group and authorizes the City Engineer for
the City of Euless to execute the contract in the amount of $67,800 in the name of the City of
Euless, copy attached hereto and labelled as Exhibit "A ".
APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas, on the day of , 1996, by a vote of ayes, nays
and abstentions.
